Default TeeDroid Caddy

Has anyone used TeeDroid caddy on the BB, especially with the Bold? Would like to know people's experiences with the app. The play-by-play scoring looks interesting.

I have used it and think it's fantastic - mapping courses is a breeze and Finn is a joy to deal with. Live stats are also cool. The two modes (shot by shot) or just GPS mode is very good. And value! GBD10 a year! Insane! Fantastic application and I have already made 10 of my blackberry using mates to use it!

Agreed. I think this is the best golf app for BB out there right now. Most seem to offer distance information for greens and hazards and this does as well.

I haven't seen another app out there give you the scoring tracking capability TeeDroid gives.

I also like mapping a course myself, the night before usually, and uploading it and having instantly accessible.

Where's the skinny on this app? Sounds interesting. I'm in the US using an 8900. Will that work?

I suscribed to get the aplication (teedroid), but now I can not get T-mobile to be read (connect) by the aplication so It appears that I lost my money if I can not find my t- mobile data connections on my bold using the Teedroid aplication. I will post again if they como up with an answer to the problem........

Default can't get it to work

I signed up for an account since this program has some nice features. I downloaded the software, but the gps setup doesn't work. I made sure the permissions were allowing gps access to teedroid but I can't get past the first screen. My gps is working just fine with my mapping applications. Any ideas?

Disregard, I reinstalled and it works. I plan to map a course and test it out this weekend and report back. Can't wait to try it!

just reinstalled the Teedroid software?? Didn't work for me. Anyone else had any success getting this to connect?

I have a Bold v4.6.0304

edit...

Ok I can confirm this indeed works on a Curve, loaded on my wife's. But still no luck on getting going on my Bold.

Quite ashame, program looks like it has alot of promise. But thru researching how to get this going on my Bold phone, I read message after message talking about bad or no feedback from development on this. I have seen the same thing. Guess they just don't have the time to get back you.

Just curious if anyone using a Bold 9650 has been able to get Teedroid to work. Its my preferred golf GPS app on my Curve 8330, but I have Bold on its way. I sent a message to Teedroid asking if they supported the 9650, but never got a response. It would be a shame to have to switch golf GPS apps after using Teedroid for the last 18 months on my Curve.
