Update to Desktop Manager?

I just updated to the latest release of Desktop Manager and my PC and phone won't sync. The screen gets stuck at the Preview Sync window. I tried calling and emailing RIM, but can't seem to get through.

What's the deal with the release? Didn't they test it to see if it worked?

Big BB fan, but they're really testing my patience right now.
