Trackpad on Bold 9650

I am posting this in "general" because it pertains to all B's with the optical trackpad. My trackpad works within the popup menu section, but nowhere else on the phone. What would cause this?

Update: it now works in email list, but still nothing on home screen or anything else

Have you updated your OS lately? Did you reboot?

You could try resending service books or a wipe and reload.

It's most likely an app causing the problem. Check your Event Log, and see if you have errors. Did you install one recently?

I have not installed any apps recently and was using OS6 for awhile. I just downgraded to 5.0.0.975 using BBSAK and NOW i can scroll on home page and still scroll within popup menu list, but NOT on app page, nor can I use the trackpad to click. This totally blows and doesn't make sense.

Try doing another OS install, but skip using BBSAK, and use a more traditional method, such as Loader.exe. Personally, I have little use for that program.

ok, just updated from 5 to 6.0.0.719 i believe and cannot even scroll down to accept the opening terms and condition. WTF!
