They're honestly tied in my mind. I use both the 9810 and 9900 and my PlayBook, and the larger screen on the 9810 will be more useful to control the PlayBook when OS2.0 is released. The 9900 doesn't "work better" with my PlayBook than my 9810 does. They both Bridge equally as well with the same number of annoying little hangups and random disconnections.
The keyboard on the 9900 is the best keyboard on any phone by far, and while it is better than the 9810's keyboard...I find the 9810's keyboard almost just as perfect. If you get to keep your 9810 after you get the upgrade to the 9900, then I'd say definitely get the 9900 so you can use both! They're both great phones that have their strengths, and even their weaknesses aren't even that weak (some say the 9900 is bad, I think it's pretty good, but the 9810's is better...just like the keyboard situation..some say the 9810 is bad, but I've had no problems whatsoever).
