Default Sales Depts lack of knowledge not helping Blackberry sales

Thought i would share this.I currently own a 9800 and a 9790Bold and a 16 gb playbook.Last night I went to BestBuy and was looking at blackberry products when a lady came in and asked to speak to a sales rep about the playbook...she was told a sales rep from the tech dept would be right with her.He arrived and told her who he was and immediately said it was a good price but it would be no longer of much use as of June. With this she inquired why and at this point i too asked why. He said there would be no more blackberry after june and they were only making software and no more hardware...not even phones. i asked if he was the sales rep in charge of this dept and he said yes.......now i asked him if he was aware of the Developers conference taking place as we speak and he had any knowledge of BB10 coming out..or of playbook 2.0 being released this month....by now his face has become very red when i said to him that before he ever knocks a product he should try it...and understand more about it...so at the end of all this i left bestbuy and went to staples as i would not buy there and actually had no intentions of buying another tablet...but did buy a 64gb and passed my 16gb to my wife...ohhhh...and the other lady also showed up at staples and bought a 32gb...I got the last 64gb in stock

It is very sad that a Best Buy in Canada would proclaim RIM dead in 4 months.

These "sales rep" threads have already been discussed ad nauseum.
VZ Rep told customer BB is obsolete...
Am I the only who didn't encounter a BB hating sales rep?
RIM should put out statement
Is Best Buy is Going Out of Business?

I'll save you the time from reading thru all the threads. The conclusions drawn from these, are:
a)20 yr old store employees are NOT technical experts, and may or may not persuade you to buy something THEY feel is a better phone/tablet/computer. They are in fact more concerned with hitting the clubs on weekends than with technology (this conclusion blew me away! How dare they not keep up to date with bleeding edge tech..the selfish selfish kids)
b)There MAY be a huge conspiracy right down to said 20 yr old store employees in the efforts to destroy RIM, so the other big 2 can gain even more marketshare (i'm guessing they want that last 10%).

These are the conclusions i've drawn..although maybe i'm missing something..

Please tell me you wrote a letter to both the store's manager as well as BBY Corp.

I know this topic has been discussed at length but good for you! I've witnessed this more times than I care to remember and I find it harder and harder to resist speaking up each time.
