Default Problem receiving email and SMS

Totally Stumped - Sms And Email Probs - Please Help!
Working with a replacement storm that was fine till yesterday without any interference from me. Reason for getting this replacement was unrelated to current problem (os crashing on old device - new one worked fine till now).

All working perfectly except for this:

I can receive sms sent from desktop via vzw website, but not from crackberry app store (to resend apps) or other web-based sites like SMS Gizmo. Otherwise I can send and receive sms from other mobiles and myself.

I tested sending sms from desktop via vzw website, crackberry app store, and SMS Gizmo to my wife's verizon razr and to my storm. She gets all sms. I only get from vzw website.

Also, email is also not coming to device without sending service books. I use BIS not BES. I deleted the entire email account on BIS and set it back up again. No help. CMIME under "default services" is indicating my email address without other options.

Firewall on device is disabled, service books have been sent, batt pulled. OS wiped with JL Commander (to 507 screen) and os .148 (official) re-downloaded and reinstalled.

EACH TIME I MANUALLY RESEND SERVICE BOOKS ON THE MOBILE EMAIL GETS PUSHED IN ONE LUMP TO THE DEVICE. In other words, email is not coming on its own to the device without sending service books.

Memory is not an issue - I have tons available.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Given everything you've done, I think you're going to have to call Verizon Customer service. I can't think of anything left for you to try. It's not clear from your note how long you've had the replacement device. If you've had it for a while, the fact that it's a replacement unit is probably irrelevant. If you just got it, then perhaps the service hasn't been pushed to your account completely yet.
