Is Pin to Pin Free world wide ?

I was told that you could use PIN to PIN worldwide and there would not be a charge. My business partner will be out of the US and I wonder if anyone has had any experience with this. Will we be able to PIN each other FREE?

Pinning uses data so as long as you both have data plans you're golden.

And you must have a data plan that covers the area in which you are currently located.

Your partner needs to get an international data plan from his/her current carrier or get a data plan from the country to which he/she is traveling.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But I think all messenger programs including BBM will work over wifi for free. The catch is being near a wifi area. Just make sure to shut off all connections except for wifi of course to avoid confusion between wifi usage and data usage. May use this in conjunction with your data plan when you're not near a wifi hotspot to avoid a ton of charges.

BBM will work over WiFi, BUT you still need to have a BLACKBERRY DATA PLAN covering the area in which you are located.
