new bis 3.0 upgrade

bit of a noob question only just got a blackberry recently and noticed on the home page of CB that BIS 3.0 is out. do i need to do anything from my end to get it to the phone or using the desktop manager or does it all just happen behind the scenes ?

It's how RIM handles the information sent and received from your device.

thank you id done a search on google but just came up with info about the update not if i needed to do anything. good to know i can just forget about it
