Seems there's a major outage right now of some/all of RIM's services. My rep at Telus just confirmed that since 6 PM yesterday, a problem with the BBM servers has been affecting web/email and other data services.
I've been having serious issues with my brand new 9900, namely, emails taking 45 minutes to push through with BIS, BBM requests not going through, feeds not refreshing, data working and not working intermittently, etc.. Can anyone report similar issues? Share here.
Note: This may just be Canada-wide, I am not sure.
I can confirm this is occurring for both BIS and BES users on Telus. On my personal BIS I just got a bunch of emails that have been queued for the past few hours, however none of my BBM messages have gone through.
Recevied some BIS e-mail this morning, no issue. Wasn't able to browse or bbm 20 minutes ago. I'm able to browse now, but still can't bbm. On Telus with the 9900.
On Telus and BBM has been own since early last night....8-9ish. Emails appear to be coming through although there could be a backlog of emails awaiting for me.
BBM messages recieve the "check" for being sent but no "D" or "R" at all
I wonder if this was the new software being installed. there was a post on CB about updated software coming online. My BIS was slow last night as well.
Rogers, Calgary, rebooted and re-registered, but can't send bbm messages. recieved some this morning, but they don't get my reply. emails seem to come through.
