Default main web browser

is it possible to like change the main browser

instead of having the normal bb browser

and change it to bolt

like in a options menu atleast?

Yeah, it won't be in options menu.
You could always delete the normal BB browser and replace
it with the bolt or opera mini browsers.

Sorry, that is not going to work. The Browser is so deeply embedded in the OS that removing is not practical. If you could, any attempt to envoke the Browser would result in an error.

The Browser is hard coded into the system, it can't be changed.

cause when i was trying to downloading something

it wouldnt work at all and it gave me an error

Your best bet is to hide the Browser and replace it with either Bolt or Opera Mini

Your always gonna need the standard browser for one reason or another, like skull said, just hide it. You also have to remember that clickin links from your e-mail will activate the default browser as well.

I'm interested to know why you would to change the web browser? Yes there are other browsers available (opera mini and bolt), but neither of them are better than the BB browser. They may be a little faster, but no way are they as intuitive and versatile. Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
