Try going to browser then hit menu key. Now select options then cache operations. Not sure if this works on the storm but it works on other blackberry's

Clearing the Internet Browser Cache is possible, but not that effective in freeing up memory.

Browser / Options / Cache Operations. The first line is the Content Cache, these are saved objects that will be use to Speed up the Browser. Clearing the cache slows the Browser down until it has rebuilt the cache.

I suspect you are really looking for a way to remove installed applications, particularly, downloaded third party apps.

Options / Advanced Options / Applications. Highlight an app, press Menu / Delete.

BTW, I have edited out your email address. Posting it in a public forum makes it vulneable to SPAM bots.

Rob, I suspect you are looking in the wrong place.

That setting is under Options / Advanced Options / Browser. Yours should be set to Internet Browser by default.

Open your Browser, press Menu and look for Options in the pop up list. Open that Option / Cache Operations.

If your Browser is particularly slow, there is one setting that may make a substatial difference.

Browser / Options / Browser Configuration. If Support JavaScript is enabled, remove the check box and try it again. Some models have experienced extreme slow response when that is set.
