Default Hello Everyone,

Hi Everyone, I am new to this site, I am going to order my new Pearl 8130 tomorrow and I can't wait to get it. I probably will have a lot of questions so I am really happy I found this site. Everyone seems really helpful. I was wondering, is a Blackberry Pearl really hard to use and does it take a long time to learn? Thanks.

Welcome to CB & BB. There's a bit of a learning curve, but you should find the BB user interface to be intuitive... and we're all here to help if you need it.

Like the others said, it's a learning curve. But once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use. Welcome to CB. I'v found the community to be helpful

I just got the Verizon Pearl a couple of weeks ago and I can't imagine how I ever lived without it.

Just make sure you have a couple hours to sit down and play with it after you get it...don't know what phone you are switching from, but if this is your first BB, it's a whole new world. If you have questions, just search the forums on here. That's what I did and I found answers to everything.

I thought for sure I would hate SureType and wasn't going to get a Pearl because of it. However, after I played with it in the store, I realized I loved it and could actually type way faster than I did on my former phone which had a full keyboard.

Congrats!
