Deleting a IPD back up

Just back to my new fantastic 9900
My new back ups are going to BlackBerry back ups BUT in there are also about 20 ols backsa ups from my old 9780 and they will not delete. Any ideas how I can delete them and clean the folder up?
If I deleted the Back up folder would another one automatically appear?

if you delete the folder, yes one will re appear when needed by DM

make sure you are logged in on the pc as administrator to make sure you have full rights.

You can choose to save the backups somewhere else. I always save the backups and their folder in a different location than the default.
