Curve 8900 email account setup

Hi

have a Curve 8900 from EBay. Works fine and is unlocked but I csnnot set up and email account. It has no Wizard Ap and the only option I am being given is an account where I have to provide a PIN code and IME number. This is surely not right can anyone help please?
