Default Contact Birthday spread over 2 days - how to fix it?

Hello awesome community!

I noticed today that birthdays I have entered for my contacts appear as if spread over two days - from 22:00 the previous day (bday minus 1) till 22:00 the actual bday day.

I wish to have this changed, so that either
A) the birthday appears at 09:00 on the actual the bday and does not take the whole day (as whole-day-event)
or
B) the birthday appears limited within the actual birthday (say from 08:00 till 18:00 or 00:00 till 23:59)

Has anyone found solution to this one?

Much obliged

Hello awesome CB nation!

Although I went through all leaks and betas from 206 through 231 to 250 and now 5.0.0.100, the problem persists

All birthday dates I enter inside the contact details is being spread from 22:00 the day before to 22:00 the actual day of the birthday.

Am I the only one experiencing this and what may be the solution? Some settings on "day starts at - ends at" or something else?

Please help me crack this one, I will get in trouble next time I call someone a day before saying "sorry I am late but..."

Cheers

i just change the start and end times for the birthday. I have the same problem. Once i set it, i open that date (open all occurences) and set the start time for what you want and the end time for what you want and it should fix all of them, provided you did "open all occurences". If you just edit the one you are on, it will only affect that one day, that one year

Thank you Legato, for your quick tip! I will surely do that before I get in trouble but was wondering if there is a solution beyond that, i.e. when I book the next contact for this to be resolved automatically?

Thanks again

did you recently upgrade os's or switch devices?

i had this same problem when i initially switched from a pearl to bold and did a 'switch device' on DM. the only solution i could find at the time was to delete all the bday's and re-enter them. this worked fine for me, a little annoying to re-enter 50+ bdays, but it was the 'alone time' lmfao that i got to spend with my brand new bold, that made it all worth while lol no issue's with it since.

It's just BB's way of letting you know b-days should be celebrated over multiple days. IMHO 2 days isn't even enough - b-day weeks is more like it
