Hopefully the negitive posters will turn into positive helpful posters for all. | If you need any help w/ anything just pm me. There won't be any backlash. finally...good to see some one is finally taking out the trash...was starting to pile up...
I've noticed over the few years I have been a member, the steady growth in accounts, yet most of them are added when there is a "contest" posted in the blogs...yet, after creating their account, entering the "contest"...they are not heard of on the forums? If your going to make an account, shouldn't you attempt to contribute something to the group?
None the less, excellent work Kevin.

I'm a bit late to the game, but let me add my appreciation as well!
Thank you, Kevin for your post, and thank you to all the Mods for your diligent, hard work.

The troll hunters seem to be out in full force these days. I just saw another thread started in the PB forum by a one-post-wonder and it didn't last 6 posts.
Good job mods!

"I don't like to clamp down on conversation, and I don't expect everybody on these forums to get along. I've used the analogy before that we call ourselves Crackberry Nation, and if you think smaller -- like the city you live in -- not everybody gets a long as one big happy family. There's some people you'll like, and some people you won't. The diversity and varying points of view are what make this forum awesome."

If a post has worthwhile content it stands. Posts made only to vent, without any request for help, or made only to start a fire have been, and will continue to find themselves in the proverbial CrackBerry Can. The moderators here are always available for a PM discussion, should you have any questions.

Why must a discussion be had via pm? Why can said conversation not be had in the forum?

He meant if you wanted to talk about a specific thread or poster or issue privately. Not generally. Private matters should be taken to PM. They don't delete posts discussing general but only private, specific matters.

Then, like he said, PM a mod with the specific thread or post and they'll look at it. You could post it out here but they aren't likely to see it as fast as if you PM them. And then you'll also get comments from the peanut gallery. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
