Default Blackberry Problems?

Oh my, problems with a blackberry can be frustrating at times. My friend is on the cell phone carrier Rogers and he had a blackberry bold 9700. His brother being on the same carrier, got a new samsung galaxy phone and gave him his old Blackberry curve 3G/ 9300.

He switched the sim cards and his app world isn't working. He cant sign into his Blackberry ID/ account. It is saying he is on his brothers old Blackberry ID.

It's not that simple, you need to get a bis data plan first.

First do a security wipe, then on the assumption you have data, create your BB ID on the new device. Register your email. Then go into AppWorld.

To use your Blackberry you will need to contact the carrier you are using and add a Blackberry data plan, if you are using another carrier (if this Blackberry is unlocked) then you may also need to update the service books.
