Default Blackberry messenger still pending....

I'm trying to add my friend to my buddy list. But it has been saying pending for 5 days now and the details say "waiting for authorization". Does anyone know why it is taking so long to add my friend to my messenger?

I've had to do this same thing, glad to see it didn't take too long for you to figure it out, I was having issues for a whole week before I found out how to fix this.

Hey...

I have added my friend's PIN and they live in Canada, and I'm in Chicago. Our PIN's keep saying Pending waiting to Authorize, but we both have and we've checked our PINS and they are correct. When I PIN them the message in my message box is in red... Does that mean they aren't receiving it? There is also a tiny D next to the check mark... Does that mean delivered? I'm sorta lost on how to fix this! Thanks

Have you guys tried adding your pin numbers to your address book before you send the request? If not paste the pin number in your address book, delete the pending invitation and resend. As far as when you PIN them, the message is red because PIN messages are set to level 1. You can change this if you want by going to messages>menu>options>general options>make PIN messages level 1: NO and they will be black like everything else. Are they sending anything back in red to you when you PIN message them? Do both of you have data plans? Yes the D stands for delivered. Hope this helps...
