So I heard a rumor that the new os 4.5 is supposed to give blackberries 3g capabilities does anyone know if this is true?

Is it really the software that limits the speed of the device or the chips in the device?

I lean towards it being the chips and not the software.

3g capability is a hardware issue not software.
