I would take a good look at all the apps that are available that you NEED and then make the decision from that. Make a list of must haves and ones you can deal without or use the browser. Thats what I told my Android friend to do. For me apps aren't everything so the Z30 is perfect for me

Apps aren't everything ether. I need Instagram for sure I can live without Snapchat but I do like it.. And everything else I use blackberry has..
I currently have the 5S... What do you think? I left the Z10 for it but thinking of coming back.. How are the sales with the Z30?

Just came from a 5s yesterday and picked up the z30. I've owned a lot of phones the list could go on and on. Coming from a note 3 previously before the 5s I found the iPhone tiny. I think the z30 is a great size. In regards to apps I've side loaded snap chat but haven't figured out instagram yet but I'm sure others have so far. It's all about personal preference. IPhone is plain and dull imo bit obviously people like a phone to be basic and easy to use

Side loading is a breeze and increases the amount of apps quite considerably.

We can have very long discussion about BlackBerry and the competition. The apps, the image, the OS etc
It is to bad that there is so many negativity about BlackBerry. I'm not and expert but a had Nokia for years, had an iPhone 4 and used Samsung. BlackBerry is just a damn good phone and bb10 is just great. It works so good and the keyboard is amazing.

I have both Snapchat and Instagram loaded on my Z30.

Keep in mind they work to a point like no notification when the app is closed and no video upload on IG. But for my uses it is great.

If you can live with that than you are golden.

iPhone 5S is better if you need all the features and the best app ecosystem on the market. It also has a better camera, processor and a few other things.

Z30 has a bigger screen with less ppi and a larger battery.

I would only get the Z30 if you need limited apps (and if BBworld has them), and standard (though high quality) phone features.

I had the Z10 for my daily driver, switched to the 5S on release day and couldn't be happier. BB10 and BBWorld didn't offer everything that I needed.

5s has a great camera, particularly for skin tones in low light. Much less horrible yellows in my apartment.

OP, why do sales of the Z30 matter? If it suits your needs and wants more than the 5s, then get it and enjoy it. You know the app situation and only you can judge whether you are ok with it.

I was hesitant about the Z30 based on the relations to the same screen resolution as the Z10. Now that I own this phone, though the screen is awesome. Love the screen size provides more room for the on screen keyboard while not taking away from the display area.
