In some ways, true. But the combination of of K-9 (all-in-one email), Light Flow (BeBuzz type notification customization) and a big notification LED (on my RAZR Maxx HD) make my android very BB-like. Very BBOS-like actually, especially with it's automated bedside mode like the good 'ol days

Still prefer the Hub and task switching of BB10 though.

Alls I can say is, I've just gone from a Z10 to a Z30 which is also 5 inch....

If you love BB10 I don't think you'd regret a Z30 at all!


If you really want the nexus though android is great and you probably wouldn't regret that choice either!

Pretty sure the the N5 (on stock) doesn't have OTG USB... but the wee tool (Meenevo??) a few posts back allows you to carry sdcard on your keyring and plug it in for extra storage... you'll need a wee tool (apk) to allow it to work (from google play). I wish I had an N5 ^^

The z30 has tons of new differences than the z10, it has way better speakers, it has paratekk antenna for better signal, has a humongous long battery life, is slightly slimmer than the z10(unless you use verizon), it has miracast and wifi direct which are very very useful, ! The screen is not bad ask.any user about it! The screen is warm and pleasant! Why don't you load up 10.3 which is very different and beautiful! BlackBerry 10 supports all the android apps so there is.no.app problem and each BlackBerry 10 update has huge changes!


The nexus is a REALLY good device for.the price but like any android, it will lag after few months! The phone has no extraordinary feature but it's just pure android, the battery is crap and you have to external storage otherwise it's good!

If I were you, I I'd go with the z30 and cmon BlackBerry 10 keyboard owns up android! And the Hub and gestures are unmatchable

How does your bank block the android app on BlackBerry? Doesn't it work on 10.3? I have a number of android banking apps on my Z10 and they all work perfectly (on the 10.3 beta). It seems odd that you list a bunch of things you will miss but are still seriously considering jumping ship?
