I just bought the charger bundle for my stl-3. I put the new battery in today and I tried to drain it until it was completely dead.

When I put that battery in my phone it was 47 % initally at 11 am. At work today I barely used my phone. After work my phone went down to 35 %. To drain the battery I played a video on youtube consistently and left it playing.The phone was turned up to it's full brightness as well. When my phone reached 0% on the display, I was anticipating the screen to turn off due to the phone dying. However, to my surprise the phone played the video at full brightness on 0% for over 20 minutes.

A lot of people have battery issues with the z10, but for some reason my 2 month old stl-3 seems to hold it's battery power well.

It's so hit or miss with the Z10. It's really a shame because it's a great device. It's just unfortunate that BlackBerry **** the bed when it came to battery life testing.

Like did they not bother testing these devices?

I guess I got lucky because I absolutely love me Z10! Do Z10's all have good battery life in the beginning and then develop issues? Or is it really a hit or miss like you said?
