- Well I know its frustrating you want to experience beta version like bbm but cannot due to the KEY CODE, which you need.
The only way to get the key code is, by visiting "https://beta.webapps.blackberry.com" and have your own account.
Many people around the world CAN NOT create an account because they always get this message:
"We're sorry, the application form is not yet available for your country. We are adding new country locations over time. Please be patient as we continue to expand across the globe."
If you are the one who gets this message. The only way, so far i figured out having an account at BLACKBERRY BETA ZONE is. To ask your relative, friends who actually LIVES AT CANADA to create one account for you "giving info about canada like address and all" ! and then access it from anywhere!
So all the best and trust me, there is no point wasting time google-ing for KEY-CODE or trying to access https://beta.webapps.blackberry.com using VPN software.Last edited by Sohail Mohd Zebarul Hoque; 06-24-13 at 09:38 AM.

Try http://vpngate.net for free VPN service that rocks for this sort of thing.
Posted via CB1006-24-13 07:40 PMLike 0 - Ummm, not sure what you are trying to say here. With a VPN nobody can tell where you are actually connecting from, unless you allow DNS leakage, etc. If you do it right there's no reason it shouldn't work. Of course, you'll need to invent an address when you sign up.
Try VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers List for free VPN service that rocks for this sort of thing.

I got few friends who works as technician at service provider company! According to them, they say. When a customer on or try to access internet via VPN! Service provider does get an alert. It only helps to override the proxy only! PS: Thats what i know from them!06-25-13 03:29 AMLike 0 -
I tried "http://vpngate.net/" It connects well. But the funny thing is when I type at google, whats my ip. It still shows my real Ip (Your public IP address is x.xx.xxx.xxx). But when i visit website like "www.whatismyip.com" it shows me the VPN ip! So its kinda FLOP!06-25-13 04:17 AMLike 0 -
The most likely cause for accidentally revealing your true location is DNS leakage. Here is a tester to see if you are leaking your true IP, and several tutorials on how to fix it if you are. Tutorial 1 Tutorial 2 Tutorial 3
I really can't recommend VPN Gate enough for occasional use. It's a totally free research project of the University of Japan, has servers all over the world, including Canada and USA, which is what you need for Beta Zone, and they have a terrific VPN Client (SoftEther) that is easy even for newbies to use and makes it trivial to find active servers around the world.
Be aware that if you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8, you will need to run the client as Administrator since it needs to modify your IP Routing tables, which only Administrator can do. This is true for all VPN clients on those platforms.
Hope this helps.
UPDATE: I was trying to supply some instructions for leak prevention piecemeal, but I realized it is easier to just post the Windows batch files I execute after the VPN connection is opened and closed. Here's the one I run after I make the VPN connection. Note that you must run these scripts as Administrator:
@echo off
route delete 0.0.0.0 <your default gateway IP>
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh interface IPv4 set dnsserver "Local Area Connection" static 0.0.0.0 both
route -4 print1
The final command displays the routing table just to make sure all went well and your default gateway is gone.
After I close the VPN connection I run this to clean everything back up again:
@echo off
netsh interface IPv4 set dnsserver "Local Area Connection" dhcp
ipconfig /flushdns
route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 <your default gateway IP>
If you run these scripts as described nobody should be able to detect that you aren't connecting from the country you pretend to be.
One more thought: It is possible that the reason Beta Zone wouldn't let you connect via Hotspot Shield is that BlackBerry has blacklisted the IP pools of known VPNs because if you are you one you are probably trying to spoof you country of origin. VPN Gate should solve this though since most of the available servers are run by volunteers so their IP wouldn't be blacklisted.Last edited by Martin Green; 06-25-13 at 03:46 PM. Reason: More info
Sohail Mohd Zebarul Hoque likes this.06-25-13 09:13 AMLike 1 - A Proxy is not a VPN, and is not as reliable at hiding your IP. When I use VPN Gate to connect to a foreign server, Google Search is completely fooled and returns the search page for the country I am pretending to be in. I suspect you may be leaking your IP through DNS as I described in my last post.06-25-13 09:29 AMLike 0
- Bla1ze... If you can name some, which are REAL vpn. Will help us then

I keep harping on VPN Gate, but it is rock solid for me and I highly recommend it for occasional use. If you are a regular or heavy VPN user you should sign up for a good service, but they won't be any more secure than VPN Gate. The only downside is that because most of the servers are hosted by volunteers they go up and down quite frequently.
If you just can't get the SoftEther client to hide you properly you can install an OpenVPN client on your PC and download the OpenVPN config file for the server you want to connect to. Then you can use OpenVPN to connect to one of the VPN Gate servers instead of SoftEther.
One other thought. Are you running the VPN client by right-clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator"? If not, the routing changes will not take and you won't be able to delete your default gateway. You MUST run the client, and my scripts, if you use them, as Administrator. This DOESN'T mean using a Windows user account with admin privileges, or logging in as Administrator. That will NOT work. You must use the right-click method I describe to run the client as a true system admin. Microsoft created a lot of confusion by using Administrator to refer to three things... the Administrator account, a user account with admin rights, and the "super admin" level that you can only get to by right-clicking as I describe. Well, actually there is one more way to access that security level but it is very convoluted, uses the Task Scheduler, and would just confuse things unnecessarily.
BTW, I noticed that the OP and another voted "Worked for me" in the poll. Does that mean OP got it working ok? If so, how?Last edited by Martin Green; 06-25-13 at 03:35 PM.
06-25-13 03:16 PMLike 0 - I will give it a try asap, as you instructed!
But i guess i need to change my router! Am i right? Because most people uses router provided from the service provider! Example: uploaded a screenshot!
PS: Every person aint so good with all this, hardly they do understand such DNS and IP. All they know, download hotspot shield, turn it on and access the website Because i do remember my times when I was totally new to it and always had an expression DUH? and bang my head trying to understand whats DNS whats IP! So basically i tired to explain the easiest way!
its my honor knowing you Martin Green. thank you so much for your replies06-26-13 01:44 AMLike 0 - btw Martin Green, do you have any answer for this thread?

I am happy to help. I only know about this stuff because I needed to solve some VPN issues for myself a few months ago. For one thing I got tired of not being able to watch the latest Top Gear episodes on the bb.co.uk web site. Also, I run a software firewall/router on my home network (pfSense), and I configured it as an OpenVPN server so I can safely connect to my home LAN from anywhere, including open Wifi Hotspots. I use an OpenVPN client on my laptop for this. I didn't learn about the problem of DNS leakage until about a month after my initial setup.
When I was learning how to do this I benefitted from the experience of many other people who posted in forums like this one, so I am glad to try to return the favour.06-26-13 09:06 AMLike 0 -

- It makes no difference which router you are using since the VPN client is running on your PC, not the router, so the one you got from your ISP should be just fine. Basically a VPN bundles up all your network packets while still in your PC, encrypts them so nobody can tell what's in them, and sends them to a VPN server somewhere else. The VPN server decrypts them, figures out who they are addressed to, changes the source IP address in the packets (yours) to the VPN server's address, and sends them off to the target. Your router has no part in this, except to send the encrypted packets to your ISP, which sends them on the the VPN server. Neither the router nor the ISP know what is in the packets, nor who they are really going to.
