For all of you who always wanted 'that' perfect email address, Yahoo now has two additional sub-domains, YMail & RocketMail...

So, go get one, plus it works with your Blackberry, instantly, and synch's, too. Meaning, if you delete an email on your Blackberry, it will delete on your account. If you've read an email on your account, it's marked as read, in your account too...

Yeah, I was all over the ymail the day they did it cause my old yahoo one has about 20,000 spam at any given time and at least 2000 in my inbox so I use that account for everything but mail, lol. I mainly use gmail but the ymail works well. the day it came out my Curve recognized it as a yahoo account and put the Y! logo on the icon even though the domain was new.

if i set up a new ymail account, do i need to make it imap on my blackberry for the sync of read/unread and deleted messages? or is it automatic?

I just typed in my email and it did everything automatic. i never messed with the settings.

Just use POP, it's easy, and works brilliantly!

Do those using Ymail pay for POP access? If not, how are you getting it to your BB device? Are you forwarding Ymail to your BB address?

I signed up for an email address with ymail . My old email address was getting a ton of spam. For the time being I am keeping all three email addresses hooked up with my BIS, but I plan to remove my gmail account soon.
