I currently have the Z10. I was thinking about getting a Q10 this Monday at Verizon. I would have to buy this off contract so it'd be $600 don't know if I should wait for the Q5 because it'll have a lower price tag.

Well I live in the us, I'm like the platform on the 10 devices so I was looking to buy another BlackBerry. I'd imagine I'd be available to the us when it releases.

Regardless I couldn't buy a lower spec phone. I'm happy with my z10 but if I wanted a keyboard it would be the q10.

You really won't know until you try out the Q5, which probably won't be available in the U.S. for a long time. Q10 is definitely a better phone it's just a question of money, and only you can make that justification.

The Q5 will make it to the US. That would be like not selling a Curve. After reading that the Q5 will run Q10 apps, I'm definitely wanting a 5. I already have a Z, so won't be missing anything by not buying a Q10.

Personally, I would go for Q10. I went for 9700 before, instead of 9900. It was a big mistake - 9700 is a lot slower than 9900.

I have been using a 9800 for the past three years and got the opportunity to use my son's Q10 (he is a master student in civil engineering) and the watch him use keyboard is amazingly fast typing. If the Q5 comes to Canada, I would consider it but do like the Q10 for sure

If you already have Z10 & keeping it, I think Q5 would be good choice for price point. Q5 won't be as powerful as Q10 but still qwerty BB10. I myself is wondering which one to get. I don't play games so I really don't need power house phone & Q10 is a little pricy for me right now. Wait & see.

Q5 has a 5 megapixel camera.
No way I would ever get that, and would never recommend the phone for that reason.
