I received my Blackberry on February 5.
As of last night (February 17th): I've sent/received 4810 messages (SMS only).
I feel like I'm EXTREMELY addicted to this and it's starting to affect my life! I do NOTHING but hold my Blackberry and text/browse/email.
I have to charge my battery twice a day!
I'm in the same boat as you.
I am constantly having to charge my phone!
And it makes me super happy when I happen to leave my charger at work, but I know I can just plug it up to my computer and charge that baby right up!

christ, thats mental! i send an average of 1200 texts a month, probably 1500 in a busy month and i think thats more than enough!
How do you check the amount of sent/recieved messages by looking on the BB?
Yep! Welcome to the Addiction! :p I don't text as often, however I find myself constantly searching the net on my BB while waiting for appointments, which is a lot. LOL
Don't worry, you are in the same boat as most of us.
I am addicted, I admit it and have no desire or inspiration to change my BB habits :p EVER!!! (Other than getting a newer phone when I have the $$$)

That's not too bad, I usually clear 10,000sms sent/recieved a month, to keep my free memory up I usually delete the previous day's texts every morning, Plus a lot of data, couldn't possibly be from all the time I spend surfing CrackBerry.com. Funny thing is, I usually only use about an hour or two of minutes a month, and rarely are they daytime minutes. 99% of my calls take place during free nights or weekends and my calls rarely go over a couple minutes. Last month I only used 53 anytime minutes all month, and my longest call was only 11 minutes. I guess you could say I'm addicted to my phone, but I barely even use it as a phone! Haha!

WAIT!! You mean you can call people from your BB too...WOW!!!...lol..yes it is definitely an addiction. I got my Bold in early December (My first ever Berry), and have not been able to put it down since. I've lost a lot of TV watching hours to the CB. LOL
Well you can text like that on any phone. But yes you're addicted.
