How, exactly, would it have been a non issue if he was using a BlackBerry? The cameras would have still been on him as he typed his password.

I believe he's suggesting that he could have used Picture Password if he'd had a BB10 device. I use it and I like not having to worry if someone is watching. But I assume he could have also used the thumb print scanner on the iPhone, too.

I'll take fingerprint password over picture password any day. They both have their advantages but personally I prefer ease of use.

So, finger print security it pretty sad. Would you want your significant other unlocking your phone with your finger while you sleep?? A baddie could hack your finger off as he/her steal your phone :-0! What about. Grave robber:-)

Much better to require brain engagement when unlocking the device.

Also I could put a gun to your head or threaten you with a knife to get past the picture password.
So that's why we need options. Picture password for you and fingerprint for me.

For one if your home button breaks, fingerprint scanner is useless

The whole friggin' phone would be pretty useless, if the screen is rendered useless. :-)

That's for the Zs. No home button to break.

On the Qs: 35 keys/buttons to break, but I can still log in, just by typing my real device password after the five picture tries have been used up.

Let's look at it from am more lighthearted perspective, shall we? :-)

? BlackBerry? I premdict the future's gonna be chenomenal! ?

    Picture Password is generally drunken-party-resistant

    Fingerprint is sleeping-prone

At least if u're ded people will still need to figure out your device password

Actually considering the fact that my last apple device home button caved in for no reason and I had to use the assisted home button on screen from then on. If your screen broke, and you can still use it to scroll In a browser then you can surely use picture password.

If your screen broke completely you couldn't use fingerprint scanner either as there's nothing to do afterwards.

    You tried too hard bud

I would imagine that having to press that home button a hundred times a day would eventually wear it out or break it pretty quickly.

I think it was a simple sarcastic remark pointing out the obviousness of someone else's post. You then tried to argue the nuances of broken screens, and ended by accusing him of trying too hard. He wasn't trying too hard. I'm bored now. Bye.
