Hi everyone, I'm just looking for a wee bit of advice - Here goes, I currently have a Bold and an Iphone (sorry addicts ), but I'm really liking the look of the new Curve (especially the keyboard) - Does anyone think it's worthwhile changing a Bold for a Curve (even with it's lack of 3G)?

ummmmm IMHO no
all you gain is more RAM and a slightly bigger screen
and its smaller
of course its the newest BB so of course its the greatest thing to ever be produced by RIM[sarcasm off]
it would be a downgrade but to each his own if you like it get it i suppose

It depends on what is tempting to you the Curve. If it's just because it's the latest device from RIM, then put your wallet back in your pocket as I don't think it's worth it to be honest but that is just my opinion.

I say it depends. The new Curve is a bit smaller, and I also like the keyboard. If you can live without the 3G and some of the fancy stuff, then go for it.

You'll definitely lose a bit of data speed and responsivness if you switch to the 8900. The Bold is the fastest Blackberry on the market right now.

On the other hand, the 8900 is very attractive to the eye, its smaller and it has a better camera. So, it kinda just boils down to what you need in a device, speed or flare.

I think you should have both the 9000 and 8900. If I could only have 1 it would be the Bold. A combination of the two is what I'm looking for. A Bold with higher screen resoloution and a better camera

the old Curve is a classic - so no offense there. Classic cars are always great.

But you already bought a 3G berry, why downgrade to a newer phone? Unless the camera means that much more than speed, etc.

I really like the new Curve too! The size and shape of the current Curve is perfect IMO and the new Curve might just beat it. If only it had the same functionality (3G, speed) as the Bold.

I really like my curve I wouldn't lie and I'm patiently waiting for my 89xx at some point. I really didn't like the bold's size and keyboard, I have small hands so the small size of the curve fits perfect. However, if and when verizon gets the bold, I may consider it.
