So I should be getting my 9550 at some point this week. My burning question though, is about Wi-fi. I know last week there seemed to be many connection issues with wifi, but VZW and Rim seem to have fixed the issue... cool.
Now I know the new BB browser is on it's way, so I am guessing I shouldn't expect anything wild when web browsing over wifi. But, how are the other apps and other aspects of wifi for everyone? Does Facebook, Myspace, Ubertwitter, and other apps load their data (images, videos, etc) way faster? How about full HTML and image driven emails? Or have you guys not noticed a huge difference between committing data actions over wifi as opposed to 3G?
Has anyone clocked any examples with particular apps over wifi as opposed to 3G?
no clocking here...but I find the WiFi to be quite beneficial at home. I find it a bit faster, but we get decent coverage anyway. FB def loads faster, though.
