    Could there be a problem with enabling wifi and leaving it enabled all tne time even when no network is avaiable?

    no. I leave mine on all the time. When I am home it connects to my wifi - if I am at my brothers it connects there...etc.

    No harm in leaving it on

    I don't think "drain" is a proper term. With wifi on and a full battery, my phone lasts about 48-72 hours depending how I use it. Probably without wifi, your looking at about a week.

    Also the battery life depends on how you use the wifi...stuff like watching YouTube videos will make your battery run out significantly faster.

    That doesn't really have anything to do with the wifi. U can atch youtube without wifi and still have the same outcome.
