Just a quick question, I am new to the whole blackberry and smart phone world so this is my first phone with wifi or a data plan. At home, I have wifi, which I would rather be using since I am on a limited data plan, however, am I using the wifi when I am in the blackberry app world, or similar things, or is it using up my data plan?
If you have a wifi network avilable, you would use the wifi instead of your data plan. This would be for all internet connection required apps or programs. Wifi has priority over 3G
Wifi has priority over 3G but some apps give you a choice of BIS, wifi, or use wifi when available like twitter for BB so check those options. But there are a few things that run on data only. I believe BBM is one.
