I just recently got a blackberry and i dont have a data plan but it comes with bbm.

I'm connected to my home network so my question is,
if I go on the internet browser, will it be using my 3g or my wifi?

I went though some of the settings and set the connection preference to wifi if that will change anything

BBM uses 3g I believe but you will need to get a Blackberry data plan if you want to use bbm.

You'll need your mobile network for BBM. If your data plan is restricted to BBM only, then you need to connect to a wifi network so you can go surf the web.
