On a curve 8320 for t-mobile, do I need a data/internet plan plan in order to use the wifi.

I have a wireless network in my home and i just want to know if i can browse the internet on my phone without an expensive data/internet plan.

I have the 8320 on Orange (uk). I can browse the internet via wi-fi just make sure your default browser is set to wi-fi.

yes you should be fine to use your wi-fi with no data plan.

With the carriers' Internet plans, you are paying for data connectivity over cell towers. If you are making a WiFi connection you are not using the carriers' network so you should have complete access without paying for a data plan.

But as soon as you leave a WiFi zone, you will no longer have data connectivity.
