Why not use fasttube or SuperTube?
Edit: nvm. That doesn't 'fix' anything lol

@SoSaa you also gave the browser > settings > developer tools > desktop mode =off, right?

    I had the same issue
What I did was to turn off flash on the browser and allow html5 to be used instead of flash. You Tube videos play without any issue.

I suggested the same thing earlier but someone said it didn't fix their problem. Flash player has always been buggy and I always keep it turned off. I am having no issues with youtube on any of my Z30's or Z10's.

    Same.
What I AM having issues ms with is using YouTube + the browser desktop mode on.

With browser desktop mode off, the YouTube desktop site works fine (YouTube mobile site> top left menu > desktop). With and without flash.

It's working on my Q10. But this is a pretty big glitch depending on the amount of people affected.

Agreed. This past week YouTube quit working for me unless I turn off desktop mode. It's a pain, really.

I dislike YouTube very much. It's got so many issues on mobile devices and its not only isolated to BlackBerry.

I started having the same issue on my Z10. Turning off flash cured it too. Thanks for the hint. But you shouldn't have to do that!!

Ah... I never looked at developer tools. thanks.
Just checked -. desktop mode has never been turned on for either my Q or Z. So I guess in my case YouTube was fixed by turning off Flash.

Yeah. I had to do some weird step of turning off desktop mode and then turning it on in the YouTube settings. I didn't touch flash.

I assume BlackBerry will patch it but will probably take a while to push out.

For some unknown reason, YouTube no longer works on my blackberry browser. It loads the page fine, but after clicking on a video, it shows up full on the video time line. Clicking on it doesn't even skip the video. It's all stuck. Help
What carrier do you have? Your data could be throttled down. That's what happens to me every month on tmobile. Youtube won't ever load, browser or app. Doesn't matter.

I'm not sure what is causing the problem, but I am sure that the carrier throttling the bandwidth isn't it. I'm on AT&T and pay for 20 Gigs/month, unless I go over, at which point they are more than happy to bill me $15/Gig additional. When YouTube quit working, it didn't matter where I was at in the billing cycle. The fix was turning off desktop mode.

Well glad you guys fixed it. And jeez. 20 gbs a month? Can't touch me I've hit 24gb once. I mean it included wifi since I'm not paying a crap load for nearly unlimited data. But data is data lol.

Someone posted this solution which worked for me...

Turn off desktop on the phone, then open youtube on the phone. In the upper left of the window click on the pull down..

Find desktop in there and turn it off.

Have not had a problem since this change

    Yep

The browsers desktop mode doesn't work, but YouTube desktop mode does.

The browser desktop mode on 10.3 actually seems to break a lot of websites.

If you want to use YouTube desktop mode, DON'T switch in the browser settings. Use regular /mobile mode and go to YouTube, click the top left corner (YouTube menu) scroll down and select desktop mode

To go back to mobile mode, scroll to the very bottom on the YouTube desktop page and click "switch to mobile "
