WE is the pronoun that applies.

We collectively are the CrackBerry Community and We have a special place on the internet, the premier Smartphone forum.

I do appreciate the arguments for curtailing the obvious abuse, that is what the Moderator Report button is for.
Since I'm not a mod, I feel that "they" was the proper pronoun. You are one of the "they"; hence "we" is correct when you are speaking for yourself and your fellow mods. You have a job I'd not want!

But when will people realize that their opinions aren't facts?
Some people, never. They can just be set in their ways. If you find something you're tired of seeing, it's best to just ignore it. That's how I handle it anyway, if I see a post I don't care for, I just scroll past and go on with my day. Best you can do with the internet.

There used to be an XFL player called HeHateMe. Remember that?

You make a good point. The moderators are notified when any member has a concern, hence, WE are all in the moderation loop.

The worst abuses like porn or marketing SPAM get reported, and thanks to the miracle of push email, are in our hands in seconds. On a good day, there will be less then 1 minute elapsed between a SPAM posted, reported and deleted.

Heated arguments between members... that takes a little more time and tact.

This isn't exactly a post to get help with anything, just seeing if anyone else has the same opinion on this topic.

I've been seeing a lot of posts on Crackberry and other site's forums about how much greater their company (companies like RIM, HTC, Samsung, Apple, etc.) are. There are even posts that bash the same type of device that the website supports. Almost 100% of these posts are there because they are talking about how progressive said company is/n't. When I read stuff like this, I often think that I'm the only person that realizes progression of the company in future devices does not effect you and your device at the current time. So who cares if Android will have the first dual-core phone? I love my Blackberry, and sure, there are a few things that I'd like to change about it, but I'm not going to go on a rage about it in a forum.

It sounds corny, but "why can't we all get along"? "Apple copied Android", "Android copied Apple", "RIM copied webOS". Don't people realize that without the opposing company, there would be absolutely no progression or variety? Without one company making the first move, there would not be as many innovations in the mobile industry.

Just my thoughts. Feel free to argue/agree.
I was just gonna say can't we all just get along? and yes it does sound corny.

I think people need to back rationalize their decisions and thus go on the offensive if those aren't validated. Buying a smart phone nowadays is what's cool and what isnt...what "it" says about you as its user.
