When I go to Options>View Folders from my message list I find a total of 18 message folders each one one with a Spam sub folder. I only have 6 email addresses on my bb.
And maybe someone can share with me the purpose of those folders in general.

as far as why...no idea

Have your tried removing the CMIME service book for the no-longer used email addresses? Make a backup first!

I only had one extra and it bugged the **** out of me.

I cleared the folders in with desktop manager in the advanced backup and restore. Then resent service books. After that I had none.

I ended up removing all 4 email accounts and re-added them. been fine ever since.
