I tried at one time but they were both personal phones so it was kinda pointless and a pain to carry both. If one is for work I can understand carrying two.
I have a 8830 for work, and a 9630 for personal services. For random work tasks that involve a bit more security I have several random sim card phones and just get handed a sim card until they take them back. At one time I had 4 active phones while at work... real pain in my ***.
I used to carry two phones. Of course it helped working for AT&T. I had a 8800 and a Pearl at one point. I was also teaching the Blackberry education class as well. I had to have both.
