I've a couple of themes installed in my blackberry bold but everytime I change the background image I can't find it again, it's not saved in the pictures folder like all the others.

I'm not a theme designer, but I would think it is in the theme files that are loaded to you BB. Part of the Plazmic files that are installed. They are not loaded separately to your BB in the pictures folder as you were hoping.
just go to your media>pictures>menu>reset the background image. i think thats what you mean.. but it will only reset the background image of the theme you are using at the time.. not any other themes that are on your phone.
A simple way of getting it back on is to reload your current theme. That will reset the default theme wallpaper.
