    You actually downloaded that?

It's a little more dignified Hello World, so to speak.

Yep! Downloaded both SpaceWeight and Hashshashin on the day of release. Cool apps I must say

What about AR kick, tilt, CB, Dropbox, box storymaker, Skyscanner, CBC, banking apps, need apps etc.. all big name apps or cutting edge apps and nothing. Tilt was a good idea but I guess it was a beta for 10.3. X actions.

I wish BlackBerry would offer incentives or Dev support to banks and other big native app suppliers to encourage support.

Maybe once they are fully in profit mode?

Devs..we love you and I for one am more than happy to pay for updated versions.

    Thanks for the feedback folks!

Apps aren't updated just for the sake of updating them. Are any of these apps broken and in need of fixing? It feels like you're trying to make something out of nothing.

A scary sign of things to come?

I can't recall the last time I got an update on my native apps.

Whine is not functioning properly, Igrann nothing, rocketman and the list goes on...

    It's sad.

I'm willing to pay our Devs for updates and tweaks, but are there too few of people willing to dish out $ to have this happen?

    From my z30
Would love to see rocket man get updated. But to answer your question, Neutron was updated recently on July 8th and the UFC app to support Fight pass.

I have definitely seen a decline in updates for a while. More importantly it has been a while since a big name app has made an appearance in bbworld.

I have bought a lot of native apps in BlackBerry World, and enjoy seeing updates. I haven't seen many recently though which concerns me as Android apps are updated every other day.

I really want native apps to keep coming but realize that's tough as the Android runtime gets better and a lot of free apps become available, or native app developers think that it's better to just develop in Android and port.

That said, I hope that having more Android apps will help with market share which increases th e chances that more companies will consider native apps, which are simply gorgeous.

No. It's the BB that no longer supporting (native) devs.

Yes. Some apps need updating. Period. They may not all be broken (whine) but lack the features of their counterparts (facebook) (igrann) (rocketman) and can always be improved. If you ever owned an apple or android product you would acknowledge that most of the apps run smooth but are constantly being improved and updated.

Not true. BlackBerry World will just have a focus on productivity and utility apps rather than games.

Well Facebook is BlackBerry's responsibility, they do upgrade that regularly, I know there is an igrann update coming. Not sure what rocketman is..

Hahaha, if everyone were like you. Sometimes I wonder if I should actually ported my app to android first then consider BlackBerry. All this situation where BlackBerry reducing focus in cascade is breaking my heart. I actually got more sales per day in with symbian version in Nokia Store then the BlackBerry version.
