I don't think carriers are going to want to keep it a 0 with a contract. BlackBerry is still pretty much a enterprise device, so if a big percentage of buyers are on corporate accounts anyways... is there a reason to discount them?

From a carriers point of view of selling contracts, a Z10 at $0 on contract doesn't make a difference in new subscribers. They have plenty of low cost devices, and it isn't like people are coming in and asking for it. So bump the price back up to make a little profit on those that are going to buy it anyways....

I think where BlackBerry could really promote their devices is a BOGO free offer directly on their site.... Buy a Z30 or a Q10 and get a Z10 free. Or trade in your PlayBook and get a Z10 free.
