Long time reader, first time poster!
So, Ive perused through this forum, and was wondering if someone can give me a definite, and updated answer regarding WhatsApp, and if its messages can be tracked and logged on the BES. Assuming that it is BES 5.0.4, or most recent version. (not the 10)
There were a few links that keep cropping up about what a BES admin can and cant see, but they are from 2009.
Any help would be most appreciated

I'm not an expert so don't quote me on this, but it was my understanding that if you're running balance, IT can't see anything on the personal side.

Since you're on the old BES servers though, I'm assuming you're not on a bb10 device, so your admin can probably see anything and everything.

BES 5 cannot log conversation that are done via whatsapp however it can block the connection completely so it cannot be used. It all depends on the type of policy's your company imposes.
