BlackBerry Messenger... B/c it has come a lonnng way from when I had my NEXTEL BlackBerry 7520 (or was it 7250)... Then, I had Just discovered the application... I prefer it over the others that I use simply b/c it's the ONLY Instant Messenger that ONLY exists on a device...Specifically Made for a device...yet is able to do ALL that the other IM services do...
I downloaded the MSN Messenger and Yahoo apps---they are like the real thing. My one question is this----are they text using data or will using them affect my text message plan?
Ok, I just tried downloaded the free-trial of Beejive, and I must be the only one who doesn't really like it. Yeah, it is cool that it bundles all the different IM clients into one app, but the format just doesn't look like the original programs. ie. My Windows Live Messenger app looks just like the one on my computer. As I don't really use anything other than WLM and BBM, I think I won't be buying Beejive.
I want to know what people think of Instango and Palringo
Personally Ive tried
Aim-hated the fact that it doesn't show all the buddy list members
Jivetalk-Its actually quite nice But It cost 20 Usd which I'm not a fan of
Web messenger-This has to be my least favorite, it displays the conversation in an ugly manner which makes it UN-attractive
update* Ive tryed Palringo and have to admit its a waste of space. Keeps on losing connection on the blackberry. But I do recommend it for the desktop computer.
