    Does anyone know why they've 're-designed' the YouTube player? It's stupid! You can't even see the times of the video on the sides and the black bar holding the controls looks stupid. They've even made the icons thicker maybe to make it look modern? Sheer stupidity.

    The "YouTube player" is just a link to the mobile website. Renders fine on my device.

    Get SuperTube from bbw if you want a great YouTube app.

    Because Google likes to redesign youtube once a year. I think they think if they make the ui harder to use then less ppl will use it and then they can abandon it. It's the only conclusion that makes sense since each redesign makes it less appealing to use.

    Yes, open YouTube website in desktop view from BlackBerry browser is not good, so mobile phones are better in mobile view.
