We all know the first is the bold 9900 / 9930. What is the second most popular phone? The repair guy at the phone store says the 9700. Right now I have a Q10, 9900 and 9810. I don't really like the slider, but I did want to get another good BlackBerry for my collection.

If u r referring to a Legacy device, for me it would have to be the 9780. Great camera and took a beating. My friend dropped hers in an alcoholic beverage and it survived. Also was left in Puerto Rico, was mailed back and still had battery life.

I ditto the 9780, much better battery life than the 3 9900's I had! I still like my Q10 better than the legacy devices but that being said, I may enjoy the classic more if I decide to pull the trigger but not before I try the passport! Why? Cuz it is different

9810 = best phone ever made. I may be alone in that or close.

Are Legacy devices still more popular than BB10 phones?

9700 /9780 was the best legacy os device because of the perfect hardware /software optimization. I used 9700 for 3 years and I never experienced any lag, hour glass etc.Battery life and audio quality was awesome too.

If we're talking about most popular BlackBerry devices of all time, I'd guess the 83xx Curves. I'd venture to say more of those were sold than any other models.

By "most popular" do you mean best liked of all time or most sold of all time?

It would be nice to have percentages of different models (legacy and bb10) that are currently active...

The Curve 8320 was my first BlackBerry that I got to sync with iCal on my Mac. I was hooked after that. Passed it on to my daughter and it kept on ticking and then sold it on Ebay for $45. awesome device.

Don't have the answer for the second most popular. My most favorite though is the 9930 and second would have to be the 8300. Least favorite is the Pearl.
