I'm running OS6 on my 9700. When BB10 launches I will be upgrading, spending the next couple of hours learning it and figuring it out, and then simply carrying on with life with the best handheld on the market.

When my upgrade comes up next year, I will buy BlackBerry 10 no matter what.

And I will hold on to my 9930 as a backup.

im really waiting for the flagship of all flagship phone from rim, codename "aristo". im currently saving up to buy blackberry 10 qwerty phone when it comes out in February (hopefully it comes out in feb). which is perfect timing since my birthday is in feburary!!! as soon as aristo comes out, i'll be buying that on contract!! anyone know if the aritso will accompany a keyboard?

When it hits the UK, I'm quite looking forward to being on it like a car bonnet! I'm currently torn between the touch and the qwerty, bit it should be one or the other.

Unless by that stage we have an anticipated slider launch.

Or I've won the lottery, and can get one of each.

That said, I too will be getting BB10 no matter what. Skipped OS7 completely (no more of this hardware not being supported thing I had with both 8520 and 9780) so I could get serious BlackBerry love.

My poor, beat-up, camera-no-longer-working 9700 will be retired and a shiny BB10 device will be in my hands. I've been holding out on upgrading, and my 9700 keeps on limping along.

Most likely pick up the London if the price is right. If not, I'll stick with the SGS3 for a few more months until the Aristo comes out.

When BB10 was delayed until 2013 I used on of my upgrades on another (Android) phone, means I won't have an upgrade available when BB10 comes out. I believe I will not pay full price and will wait. My next upgrade isn't till Q2 so it will be time to see what folks are saying about the new phones (by then both the touch and the QWERTY should be available to compare) and maybe see what timing is on Aristo. There was one time I was going to do this and wound up unable to wait and paid full price and I cannot say that won't happen again this time but thats the plan as of now.

....Also if Aristo is what it looks like it's going to be, I will probably enjoy the L-Series for 6 months and then trade-up to the 4.65" Quad-core, 2,800 mAh battery variety in all its sweet glory.

I voted "Stay with my current phone (whatever it may be)" because I'll still have 9 months +/- when BB10 is released. However I plan on upgrading at that time.

I'm gonna stick with my 9930 until my contract is ready for renewal in May/June. That is, unless my 9930 flatlines... maybe I'll switch if that happens.

I was honestly expecting more people to be on bb5. These are good results whenever I see news talking about iphone and BB they always show bb5 and newest iphone haha

It may be difficult but I will hold it for a few months before buying it.

Need to make sure all my apps are available or can be sideloaded. And the battery life is not bad. And no major screw-ups, and price is fair, and the market receives it well, and more big app developers are coming on board....

Or just pick one up on sight

I will keep my 9900 and 9810, my 9860 is going to a good home next week, and I'm ready for my BB10 to take its place with my iPhone and my Skyrocket.
