I got the Torch 9810 yesterday (love it) and I'm wondering what speeds you guys are getting, you know just to compare with eachother, on your new 9900/30, 9810, or 9850/60. Here's what I'm getting

    Rogers HSPA+ network (Winnipeg, MB)

    3.87Mbp down
    1.47Mbp up

Is that normal or is that slower than speed its supposed to/should be?

Seems slow for HSPA+. I was getting up or more than 3Mbps on my iPhone 3GS when I was on AT&T. Not an HSPA+ device.

Hmm that's odd, could it be because I was connected to my PC through USB and not bluetooth or are they both the same?

Not sure really. But I believe USB allows for faster data transfer rates anyway.

It all depends on the network. Your speeds are not slow, but definitely on the slower side of HSPA+.

I was chatting with MTS tech and they said that even though the new 9810 is 4g/hspa capable... their system only allows for 3.5-4 mbps data speeds... even though their website advertises 21 mbps? and apparently the iphone regularly gets 5 - 6 mbps on the mts system.....me thinks their is some corporate bullying going on their?
