On the side of my 8830 under the button there is something there and I can't figure out what it is or what it does.. BTW I just got it yesterday i am completely new to the blackberry world, a step away from Microsoft .

If anyone could fill me in on this it would be great, just kinda bugging me...

I was told it's for a charging station.. you just drop the device in to charge and just pull it out when your done.. no need to plug anything in
