    No, seriously.
They should make a : "buy one, get the second one for free" sale.

Like this they can hide the fact of having a firesale a bit and it's a pretty good bait for a certain type of consumer, so it'll be easier to get more phones into people's hands.

No they don't. If z10 was offered for $199 or $250 off contract these phones would sell very quickly.

199 and 250$ is Google Nexus territory.
If they have something like a firesale, they need to undercut that.

You can put them in hands of enterprise users as a promo, and also ship them to the emerging markets, which wud put them in hands of people that can't afford it

Give to US federal government agencies at a price that makes it insane to look elsewhere, including free BES10 CALS with each device. They are in danger of losing most if not all of this segment due to their own incompetence.

These prices are a bit extreme....
The 10 pence for the 9720 are still too damn high though.

Unlock the bootloader and sell them direct as cheapo Android devices. I'd buy one for $100 if the bootloader was unlocked.

I think a promotion with Walmart would work, but do it to get people to line up (maybe Black Friday) -- The first 200 people at selected stores could buy the phone no-contract for $150. Hand out wrist bands. Black Friday line-ups always get media coverage here in Los Angeles.
