I'm in the same boat I hope I don't step on any toes by asking this but I finally found my pin but what do with it now? Also is it ok to give out or is it perfectly normal and safe to? No one will be able to get into my info on my phone will they?
You can also press and hold "Alt", shift and "H" on the Home screen to bring-up a system information screen that, among other things, specifies your PIN... Much quicker than stuffing around in the menu.

PIN messages are very compact data messages that travel over the RIM network from one BlackBerry to another BlackBerry. PIN messages do not utilize SMS, so they do not subtract from your SMS text message allotment. My wife and I chat on BlackBerry Messenger all day and never run out of messages. I save my SMS messages for my non-BlackBerried peeps.
