AS BlackBerry doesn't do breakdowns... that would only be a guess.

But it's clear is was probably the 9900 line of BOLDs. Back in that time, sales were 4 -5 million a quarter in overall sales, easily eclipsing anything that BB10 devices have done.

Now out of the BB10 devcies, it is clear that the Z10 was the most sold of "modern" BlackBerry.

9900 was very popular for sure, but my money is on the 83XX curve lineup. These were sold by the truckload.

Yep...the 83xx was my first BlackBerry. Loved my Bold 9700 than the 9900.

    Most sold or most solid?

Thread title and text body don't match, haha!

Most solid? I guess the Q10. Apart from the double-typitis... :-D

Definitely the Curve 8330 and Bold 9000. Currently still using my Bold 9000 and it's been outdated for quite some time now, but it probably is the best keyboard I have used since the T-Mobile Sidekicks (3 and LX 08 to be specific). If they made new phones with a great keyboard I wouldn't hesitate to jump on one. The new Blackberry Privs keyboard looks very small compared with my bold or else I would try it out.

9900. But Curve is a close second. The BALL on the curve was always a concern.

Solid is overrated. My 8330 used to slip from my hand and explode at least weekly I would put the battery back in and it would boot no harm done.

When looking for durable, what you need is exploding into easily reassembled pieces really.

I always thought the 9900 series where just rock solid and had the classic Blackberry look. My personal favorite will always be my 7100i Nextel until that I traveled most the world with and my emails always came though, even in Russia where no one else's device even worked except my trusty Blackberry.

I would have kept my 9900 Bold but switched carriers so got a Classic. If the Classic was made sooner it would have been great. I plan to hang onto this Classic for as long as I can since it is like a better version of the 9900

Without a doubt the 9900. I had a 9790 and still have a 9780 and they are light, feel cheaper and creak like the hulls of the Titanic. I have handled many others that friends had.

Nothing feels as solid in the hand as the 9900, it is sheer luxury that oozes quality down your arm and onto the sidewalk

My Classic + Defender case has handled everything I've thrown at it. Rain, dirt, sand, paint, solvents, and more drops than I can count. It's the tool I use the most and has never let me down.
